The Most American-Made Cars Least Affected By Trump’s 25% Tariffs – msn

By imposing high tariffs on cars and auto parts, President Trump just increased the cost of getting to work for middle- and low-income Americans already priced out of the new car market.  How?  Price shocks on new cars will increase demand for used cars.  Limited supply plus higher demand will result in higher used car prices.  And less money left over for rent, food, fuel, and other necessities.

Don’t forget: Tariffs are a way that Trump can raise revenue without the approval of Congress (at least in the short run).
