Assume that the West Bank has a similar right as Israel to protect itself. If the United States or another mega-power began arming the West Bank with weapons far superior than Israel has, would the West Bank have a right to flatten Israel the way that Israel has flattened Gaza? If the West Bank’s goal was to eliminate the Israel government that is terrorizing it, and it killed and injured tens of thousands of Israeli citizens collaterally, would that qualify as genocide? Or just sloppy self-defense?
The point: the rules of justifiable homicide established by the most powerful can used against them when they become less powerful…What goes around comes around.
