Biden’s threat to halt weapons deliveries sparks anger and infighting among Israeli officials – CNN
Is Biden’s threat to cut off arms shipments a credible deterrent that can stop the Jewish Supremist Israeli government from slaughtering more Gazan civilians? Or just more talk?
Contrary to what it says, the Netanyahu regime’s primary goal is not to eliminate Hamas. It’s long-term goal is to reduce the Palestinian population in Gaza and the West Bank and take more land. Netanyahu and the like need a remnant of Hamas or similar group to provide a pretext for future expansion of Israel. The US and other nations should immediately send an armed force into Gaza to stop the slaughter, prevent starvation, protect civilians from Zionist troops, prevent Hamas from doing further damage and reemerging, stabilize the political situation in order to develop a stable Palestinian state, and begin rebuilding Gaza. International action is also needed to protect West Bank Palestinians from lynching and land seizure by Israeli settlers.
Will Biden finally stop enabling Netanyahu’s extremist government? – Guardian
“…the administration is required to submit an annual report to Congress, which is due this week, explaining whether Israel’s statements are valid and how US officials evaluated these claims. Last month, Reuters reported that several senior officials have told the US secretary of state, Antony Blinken, in an internal memo that Israel’s assurances are “neither credible nor reliable”. The officials from four different state department bureaus raised questions about potential Israeli violations of international law during the Gaza war.
“The fact that US officials decided to leak this classified document shows the level of concern about American complicity in potential Israeli war crimes – and the lack of faith that Biden and his top aides will stop weapons shipments to Israel even when there’s evidence that it is violating international and US laws.”
