Why aren’t more (if any) US media asking why? Is N-Yahoo trying to tangle the US in a wider war to deflect from loss of support resulting from the destruction of Gaza? If drawn into war with Iran, would it be harder for US leaders to criticize the mass killing in Gaza and decades of aggression in the West Bank? Would the fog of a regional war facilitate ISR’s long-range goals of reducing the Palestinian population and increasing its territory? Is ISR provoking Iran in part a reminder to the US that it relies on ISR to apply military force in the region and counter Iranian influence – and a cue for the US to carefully evaluate its strategic interests when measuring responses to its growing revulsion to ISR’s treatment of the Palestinian people?
