Biden Is Mad at Netanyahu? Spare Me. – Nation
Another WaPost story today about Biden posturing opposition to ISR war conduct (on p. 12 – story about 2 hostages rescued on p. 1). Have set deadline: if Biden does not exert maximum leverage (eg, no war $$) to stop/prevent killing in Rafah this week, I will not vote for him, regardless of the alternative. His conduct toward Israel and Gaza is the personification of impotence.
Also wondering when, if, the near-brain-dead US media will get Trump on record on what he would do re Israel, Gaza, and the West Bank. True, Trump does have trouble dealing with multi-variable situations and changes his mind rapidly, but the question is still worth asking since he soon may be running the country again.
Another Q: Would annihilating all 1.7 million people in Rafah achieve Netanyahu’s stated goal of eliminating Hamas? Is the goal really to decimate Gaza’s population and push as many as possible across the border, as some senior Israeli officials have urged?
