Despite the urge for positive pre-election optics with fund-bearing Zionist lobbies, Congress should vote “no” to more aid to Israel. The $17.6 billion in the Senate bill for Israel’s military would result in roughly $2 billion in profits for US arms industry shareholders, little trickle-down to the rest of the country, and thousands more dead or wounded Palestinian civilians. Will a generation of Palestinian kids missing parents or limbs contribute to US, or Israeli, security?
