Below is what we posted after President Trump rationalized four years ago that reducing gun violence meant reducing the number of seriously mentally ill Americans and/or their access to guns. (BTW, as evidenced by the recent Maine killings, even a “well organized militia” – the US Army Reserve – has trouble accomplishing that.)
